No longer a rookie with NASA and the Spec E30 fields were growing steadily. There were twenty cars in class but I ended up qualifying mid-pack for Saturday's race. I don't have video and ended up driving a pretty uneventful race finishing approximately where I qualified.
I got my stuff together for Sunday's qualifying and ended up 5th on the grid. I was pretty excited about battling towards the front of the pack but unfortunately the car had other ideas. The 270,000 mile transmission decided to break at the start leaving the car stuck in 2nd gear. I have to give a lot of credit to everyone behind me for not trunking me as I turned into a rolling chicane. The video is pretty fun to watch.
